In this master’s degree final work, it is analyzed DR programs in Colombia and selected countries (France, USA, South Korea, and Australia), identifying their main programs and the different participants in DR mechanisms that take on the role of aggregator, the programs are classified into three types: Auxiliary Services, Energy Market and Emergency or Capacity DR. In this way, the status of the implementation of DR programs in the selected countries is identified and a comparison is made with Colombia, to prepare an overview of the limitations that occur in the Colombian context to understand the incorporation of DR programs, and from hence, provide strategies to encourage the creation of new RD programs from a general perspective and the demand aggregator.
