Resumen
The objective of this work is to propose an alternative of a silvopastoral system that increases the productivity and ecological
connectivity of the La Aurora farm, in the municipality of La Calera, Cundinamarca. This will be done through the relationship
between the bibliographic research, the information obtained in the field and social cartography, to later propose in an
integrated way the proposal through a distribution plan showing the types of SSP and the plants’ species to be planted. It was
determined that the geographical, edaphoclimatic and hydrological conditions in which the farm is located are suitable for the
development of the project. The final proposal of the silvopastoral system is based on an association of living fences for which
it is proposed to use Cedar (Cedrela odorata) and Golden Button (Tithonia diversifolia), with an amount of 169 and 718
seedlings, respectively; and an alley pasture system for which the Aliso species (Alnus acuminata) was chosen in a 5 x 20
arrangement with a density of 100 plants / ha and a total of 487 plants; Linden (Sambucus peruviana) and Elderberry
(Sambucus nigra), each in a 3 x 20 arrangement with a density of 167 plants / ha and a total of 813 plants. In economic
considerations of the return on investment when VPN> 0, an IRR of 11% is obtained at year 6, so the investment will be
recovered according to the growth of trees and shrubs, by decreasing the purchase of concentrate and fertilizers.
