Implementación de un sistema de biblioteca para el control bibliográfico en la Institución Educativa Ernesto Villanueva Muñoz, distrito Cajaruro, provincia de Utcubamba 2019

Abstract

This research is applied, with a general explanatory research design and with a specific quasi-experimental design, it was developed under the line of research in information technology management, which was carried out with the objective of determining to what extent the implementation of A library system improved bibliographic control at the Ernesto Villanueva Muñoz - Cajaruro Educational Institution. The study details the current situation of bibliographic control of the mentioned Institution and focuses on the processes involved in library management. To implement the system, the XP methodology was applied, MySQL Workbench 6.3 CE was used for the database model, the PHP programming language and the free Vali Admin Master template made in Bootstrap V4 were used. The Pre-Test and Post-Test were used as the data analysis method. Through the application of the Pre-Test, the manual library system that was used in the aforementioned Institution was applied, it had many deficiencies in bibliographic control, response time in the processes involved in library management, information could not be provided to teachers and students related to library management quickly and in a timely manner, there was a high risk that registered information related to library management would be lost or modified, and there was no quality catalog. At the end of the research, the implementation of the library system at the Ernesto Villanueva Muñoz - Cajaruro Educational Institution improved bibliographic control, consequently the response time decreased, the knowledge and provision of information could be obtained quickly and in a timely manner, The risk of loss or modification of the registered information was reduced and a quality catalog could be implemented.
