Evaluación de los cuidados en accesos venosos periféricos en pacientes del Hospital MINSA Ilo II-1 2017

Los pacientes hospitalizados en su mayoría necesitan un acceso venoso periférico para su tratamiento, el cual requiere un cuidado especializado,el mismo que registracomplicaciones como: flebitis, infiltración, tromboflebitis, hematomas e infecciones. El propósito de estudio de la presente investigación es evaluar los cuidados en accesos venosos periféricos, en pacientes del Hospital Ilo II-1. ILO 2017. El tipo de investigación es no experimental, de corte transversal y prospectivo, el diseño es descriptivo, el instrumento que se utilizó fue validado por un Hospital Español, el que se adapta a la realidad Peruana. En los resultados encontramos que los cuidados en accesos venosos periféricos según el servicio de Cirugía presentan un 38.46% de cuidados adecuados, en el servicio de Ginecología un 62.50%, el servicio de Obstetricia presenta un 11.11%; el servicio de Medicina un 33.33% y Pediatría un 50.00% de cuidados adecuados. El presente estudio llega a la conclusión que los cuidados en accesos venosos periféricos en promedio son adecuados en un 30,67% e inadecuados un 69,33%, en pacientes del Hospital.
