Um estudo de QoS para predição da perda de pacotes em redes sem fio a partir do nível de sinal

Resumen
Este artigo busca uma equação que possa fazer a predição das perdas de pacotes a partir do nível de sinal
para propor uma solução de seleção de redes que atenda principalmente as aplicações que necessitam de QoS(Quality
of Service) para o parâmetro perda de pacotes. O estudo utiliza cálculos estatísticos, como desvio padrão e intervalo
de confiança, e estipula um nível de confiança de 95% para determinar as amostras. Inicialmente desenvolve um
software para automatizar a coleta dos dados, realiza uma coleta de 500 requisições (icmp/rssi) em rede wlan,
consolida esses dados através do método estatístico da distribuição normal, e obtém o resultado para a próxima coleta.
Posteriormente realiza três iterações a fim de determinar a quantidade ideal de novas iterações. Finalmente realiza a
ultima coleta de acordo com as amostras encontradas anteriormente para encontrar a média dos parâmetros de rede
coletados. Com todos os dados reunidos, aplica modelos estatísticos de regressão para buscar a melhor equação que
atenda o objetivo do estudo: a predição das perdas a partir do nível de sinal.
