Características de gestantes con diagnóstico de sífilis atendidas en el hospital amazónico en el periodo 2014 – 2017

Estudio planteado con el Objetivo de Determinar las características que presentan las gestantes con diagnóstico de sífilis atendidas en el Hospital Amazónico periodo 2014-2017. Material y Métodos: Investigación de tipo descriptivo no experimental de nivel exploratorio univariado de corte trasversal. Instrumento fue la ficha de recolección de datos. Conclusiones: Respecto a las Características sociodemográficas, el 61% estuvieron en el rango de edades de 20-34 años, el 20% fueron adolescente, el 81% tuvieron el estado civil de convivencia, el 92% fueron amas de casa, el 62% procedieron del Distrito de Yarinacocha. Considerando las características obstétricas, el 52% de las pacientes tuvieron ≥ a 6 atenciones pre natales, el 12% no presentó ninguna atención, el 84% iniciaron la APN entre el I, II trimestre de gestación, el 22% fueron primigestas, el 43% multigestas y gran multigestas respectivamente, el 27% tuvieron el diagnóstico de sífilis en el III trimestre de gestación y en el pre-parto respectivamente. Características conductuales: el 97% de las pacientes iniciaron relaciones sexuales en edad adolescente, el 81% tuvieron dos a más parejas sexuales, el 55% de las gestantes recibieron tratamiento para sífilis durante la gestación, el 8% de ellas tuvieron otras ITS, solo el 13% utilizó preservativo como medio para evitar la reinfección, el 1% tuvieron el hábito de utilizar alcohol o drogas ilícitas, el 40% de las parejas de las gestante recibieron tratamiento para sífilis, el 2% de las parejas tuvieron antecedentes de otras ITS como VIH y gonorrea respectivamente. La prevalencia de sífilis en gestantes fue del 0.8%, cifra por encima de los valores referentes nacionales representando un impacto negativo para las gestantes de nuestra región.
