Resumen
The objective was to define a millimeter wave propagation model for 5G technology through the NYUSIN and Matlab system simulation. The generation of mobile telecommunications comprises the first generation, second generation, third generation, fourth generation or 4G LTE (current), reaching the fifth generation, being the latter the new proposal for the development and connectivity of electrical devices, it is currently known as the internet of things. The millimeter wave propagation models are necessary when comparing the performance of technological proposals and to assess the overall performance of all existing 5G systems, being the NYU Wireless the reference model to meet the research objective, it is a 3d statistical model, which allows to achieve spatial consistency in multiuser simulations and is easy to implement through the use of the Matlab tool. The millimeter wave propagation models implementation, determined that measurements at 200 meters distance at different simulation frequencies are the most suitable and present optimal reception field levels and according to reach a speed in the order of the Gbps, being the arrangement of antennas of 32x8 ( MIMO) for the obtained scopes it is recommended that the cellular companies must offer the final users the flat and flexible data rate plan so that in the beginning they live the experience of 4G LTE and while gaining a better insight and expectation of the 5G cellular network.
