The technical project aims to make a technical design proposal for the partial closure of a quarry of aggregate and stone construction materials. The partial closure plan of the mining concession "Guadalupe Acumulada" code 290417 will be carried out in the north front by parameters such as the technical design where geological, geotechnical and physical-mechanical parameters of the rock mass, its geometric design of the settlement slope, its volume of removal material and its corrective proposal and slope restoration will be determined.
The anti-technical exploitation design that has been in place for several years has caused slope instability, negative environmental and social impacts. In the technical design for the partial closure of the north face, it is proposed to present an adequate design where it was determined: The cutting method will be done by descending banks with a maximum depth of 38 m in a distance of 170.55 m from the N-E to the S-E face, with bank heights of 8 m and a safety berm width of 5.5 m. The settlement slope angle is 8.5 m, with a maximum depth of 38 m and a safety berm width of 5.5 m.
