Resumen
The purpose of this study was to optimize the Production System in the Engine Rectification process through a Process Management System, a study was obtained at the beginning by analyzing the information of the current system of the company in the Production area, collecting historical data of the different types of engines that are most in demand with the analysis of the Pareto Diagram. A standardization of processes was carried out through the study of methods and time, using timing to determine the cycle time, after taking it, the standardization was elaborated with the time applying parameters and formulas to determine the standard time that will be used in each of the engines analyzed, for the verification of productivity, individual control charts were applied to control if there is no variability in the process; lastly, the FMEA Matrix will allow correcting the effects that may be caused by failures in the work stations, increasing productivity, order and improving the companyꞌs efficiency. The results of the study show a productivity improvement percentage of 88% in Diesel engines and 87% in Gasoline, with an efficiency of 89% in Diesel and 88% in Gasoline. It is concluded that, through the application of tools such as standardization, individual control charts, check and FMEA matrix, satisfactory results were obtained in the research. It is recommended to have a greater variety of historical and time data, to verify the information of the tools and to control that the processes are adjusted to the standardization.
