Resumen
This research aimed to carry out the floristic characterization of the Arbustal Siempreverde y Herbazal ecosystem considering the GLORIA plots methodology, and the Shannon and Simpson method. The formula for determining the number of sample units was applied to determine the number of plots to work with. Resulting in 22 plots for the survey within the study area, during 2 days of which the collection of species was carried out in sampling 1 in 11 plots and in sampling 2 in the same way in 11 plots, in sampling 1 165 individuals were collected and in sampling 2 with 31 individual species, the small quantity is because they were homogeneous species. After that, the labels were given considering usual and common name, as it was known by the population of the area and in which plot found and placed on newspaper for the drying of the samples lasted 15 days and respectively identified in the ESPOCH herbarium and classified by family, genus and species, resulting in Calamagrostis intermedia(J.Presl) Steud . The species with greater vegetation cover and stands out with 8.04 importance value (IVI), 6.39% relative density (DR%) and with 9.70% relative frequency (FR%) in sampling 1 and Lachemilla orbiculata (R uiz &Pav.) Rydb is the second species that stands out with 23.07 value of importance (IVI), 23.56% relative density and with relative frequency 22.58% in sampling 2. In conclusion, it resulted in 2 species that most stood out at the time of carrying out the Floristic characterization of the Arbustal Siempreverde y Herbazal ecosystem were Calamagrostis intermedia (J.Presl) Steud and Lachemilla orbiculata (Ruiz & Pav.) Rydb. It was recommended a monitoring every 3 years to know the behavior of the flora.
