Resumen
The objective of this technical project was to design and obtain a 3D prototype of an accessory for holding raw material in a five-degree-of-freedom machining center. For which several bibliographical references from different authors and sources were compiled, through a systematic investigation of the subject, with which it was possible to establish the fundamental design parameters. In addition, it was possible to establish the structural and dimensional characteristics, based on catalog recommendations and good design criteria. However, to obtain the final model, the concurrent design method was used, which provides several weights according to the voice of the user and engineer, compared to existing models in the market. Therefore, a power screw and anchor mechanism using Allen bolts was determined. Finally, it was concluded that the accessory complied with a safety factor greater than 1, as well as a work efficiency of 50% in extreme operating conditions, for which the stress and deformation states were verified under the application of maximum loads, In this way, it will not fail in operating conditions, thus guaranteeing the integrity of the machinery, the operator and efficient work in less machining time. In addition, an analysis by specific finite methods is recommended under the established conditions, which allows to correctly know the design parameters of the accessory, since they are factors that directly influence the dimensioning based on stability and the conceptual design, jointly developed through the voice of the user and engineer, to improve the efficiency of the accessory both in its simulation, printing and future construction.
