Resumen
The objective is to develop the modeling, simulation and control of a Hydraulic Oil Pumping System as a didactic tool for the subject of Process Control. Before modeling the process, the variables and design parameters that can modify the structure and operation of the Oil Pumping Hydraulic System were determined, then the mathematical modeling of the system was proposed using algebraic and differential equations. Once the mathematical modeling was done, the system was simulated with Matlab, where object-oriented programming was applied to simulate each of the system elements. Simulink was used to control the system, where three blocks of Matlab Function were implemented, with a Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control for the level of the storage tanks. With the help of the App Designer, the CSS (Crude Storage System) application was created, which works independently of Matlab. Within the application, 4 graphs are obtained where it is illustrated: the level of fluid in the tanks, the flows that pass-through lines B and C, the revolutions per minute of the PB01 pump to control the level in the tank of line B and the percentage of opening of the valve VC02 to control the level of the tank of line C. Finally, it was possible to carry out the modeling, simulation and control of the oil pumping hydraulic system through the use of Matlab and its complements, which allowed the creation of an independent application of Matlab to use it as a didactic tool. It is recommended to include a catalog of different types of pumps in the process to define what the differences would be and analyze the results when changing from one pump to another.
