Análisis de las empresas industriales en recubrimiento de piso epóxico y uretano en la ciudad de Guayaquil en el periodo 2018 – 2022

Abstract

Possibly the most important element in a building is the floor. In daily use, many people think that the floor will remain without any damage during its useful life. However, by its very nature, the floor wears down. The materials and techniques for the installation of industrial floors have changed, presenting 2 techniques that strengthen flat structures, and they are epoxy resin and urethane. There are few companies that are dedicated to the installation and sale of these, in this investigation it is desired to analyze the industrial companies in epoxy and urethane floor coating in the city of Guayaquil in the period 2018 - 2022, the methodology used was documentary and descriptive. , using a panel of experts to learn about the movement of the sector before, during and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Among the results it is observed that these companies maintained a favorable financial situation in the years 2018 and 2019; With the emergence of the pandemic, sales and profits decreased. This situation developed strong administrative measures to be able to continue as a going concern. It is concluded that, to reactivate this type of company, it is convenient to apply discounts, reconstruction bonuses, delivery of free materials, and participation in fairs.
