Resumen
The present degree work focuses on the design and construction of a snack packing and dosing machine. It started with a previous study of current systems in dosing, sealing, and forming the bag, to identify and select the appropriate characteristics for this project. After evaluating different alternatives, the design of each of the systems that make up the machine was carried out, including the dosing, sealing, and forming system of the bag.
All the mechanical elements of the machine were manufactured. Then, the mechanical, electrical, and control assembly was carried out. In addition, the pneumatic system of the machine was made, which included the installation of valves, cylinders, and tubes necessary to control the mechanical movements and the pressure of the air used in the sealing process.
Programming was also carried out for the operation of the machine, using software such as TiaPortal. Likewise, an interface was developed in the HMI (Human Machine Interface) to allow easy operation of the machine by the user. This interface will allow operators to adjust and changes in the configuration of the machine such as dosing, sealing, bag length, among others. As well as monitoring its operation in real-time.
Finally, various tests are carried out on each of the systems that make up the machine such as dosing, sealing, and bag forming. To ensure proper functioning.
