Abstract

The main objective of the research work was to analyze the relationship between sociodemographic variables and the levels of addiction to social networks in students aged 15 to 17 years of the Santo Domingo de Guzmán Educational Unit in the Gualaceo canton. The study was supported by a theoretical framework aimed at the conceptualization and research on addiction, social networks, dimensions of addiction to social networks, criteria to establish an addiction to social networks, causes of addictions to social networks, risks of social networks.
