| dc.description | La presente investigación tiene por objetivo analizar las tendencias
emprendedoras y expectativas de vida laboral y familiar en estudiantes de
Enfermería e Ingeniería, desde una perspectiva de género, pertenecientes a la
generación Millennials de una Universidad Pública de la Región del Maule. Para
esto, se trabaja en una investigación de tipo descriptivo correlacional, no
experimental, aplicando los siguientes instrumentos: Test de Tendencia
Emprendedora General (Carvalho, Vaghetti, Dias y Rocha, 2016), Escala de
Estilos de Vida (Gilbert, Dancer, Rossman & Thorn, 1991) y Escala de
Planificación Vida Personal/ Vida Familiar (Hernández, 2008). Se realizan análisis
descriptivos, comparación de medias y correlaciones entre variables de la
investigación, junto a la prueba de Levene, los cuales permitirán comprobar si se
cumplen o no las hipótesis planteadas en relación a las variables de estudio. Se
observa que las tendencias emprendedoras son más predominantes en Ingeniería
que en Enfermería, mientras que las expectativas de vida laboral y familiar de
estos estudiantes no son más marcadas en una carrera que en otra, sino más
bien, tienden a proyectarse de una manera similar. De esta forma, se concluye
que estos resultados se dan por la predominancia de los rasgos como generación
Millennials, en vez de que se realce el prejuicio de género asociado a las carreras,
al ser una históricamente feminizada y la otra masculinizada. De acuerdo a ello, es
que son fundamentales estas similitudes que convergen a estas carreras, predominando su esencia como generación, más que su formación académica. // ABSTRACT: The present investigation has for objective to analyze the tendencies on
entrepreneurial and working life expectancies, and family life expectancies
between students of Nursing and Engineering from a perspective of gender
belonging to the Millennials generation from a public University from Region of
Maule. For this, the investigation will be made of descriptive correlation type study,
non experimental, applying the following instruments: Test of general
entrepreneurial tendencies (Carvalho, Vaghetti, Dias y Rocha, 2016), Scale of
styles of life (Gilbert, Dancer, Rossman & Thorn, 1991) and Scale of personal life
planification/family life (Hernández, 2008). Descriptive analysis and average
comparation and correlation of the investigation are performed altogether, with the
application of the Levene test, which will allow to prove if the raised hypothesis are
fulfilled on relation with the variables of the study. The entrepreneurial tendencies
are seen to be more predominant on engineering than nursing, while the working
life expectancies and family life expectancies on these students are not more
marked on one career than the other, on the contrary, the variables tend to Project
on a similar way. Thus, it concludes that these results are given by the
predominance of features by the Millennials generation, instead of the
enhancement by the prejudge of gender associated to these careers, that in
historical terms, one has been feminized and the other masculinized. On
agreement to that, is that these similarities are fundamental on the convergence of these careers, predominating generation essence, rather than their academic formation. | |
