dc.description.abstractThis collection of articles is the third such volume resulting from investigations carried out by member of the Inter-American Working Group on the Shootborer Hypsipyla grandella (Zeller). The contents of this volume reflect the growth of the Working Group's research on this tropical forest insect which affects some of the more important tree species of the Mahogany familiy, Meliacese.

El contenido de este volumen refleja el crecimiento de la investigación del Grupo de Trabajo sobre este insecto del bosque tropical que afecta a algunas de las especies arbóreas más importantes de la familia de la caoba, Meliacese.
