Tensiones comerciales. Consecuencias para América Latina y el Caribe

Abstract

Se pretende comprender las probables consecuencias de la evolución del comercio mundial para América Latina y el Caribe, se presentan cuatro escenarios que muestran cómo las tensiones comerciales en aumento afectarían las economías de la región y una potencial respuesta regional para mitigar los posibles impactos negativos. Este artículo revisa los resultados del modelo utilizado.

The aim is to understand the probable consequences of the evolution of world trade for Latin America and the Caribbean. Four scenarios are presented that show how increasing trade tensions would affect the economies of the region and a potential regional response to mitigate the possible negative impacts. This article reviews the results of the model used.
