Informe del Encuentro de Ministros de Agricultura de las Américas 2013 y de la Decimoséptima Reunión Ordinaria de la Junta Interamericana de Agricultura

Abstract

Se presentan un informe de la reunion la cual borda las diferentes posiciones y observaciones, en procura de lograr acuerdos en torno al agua, concibe el encuentro como “alimento para la tierra”. En conciencia del crecimiento de la población, el incremento de la demanda de agua para actividades agrícolas y no agrícolas y los efectos del cambio y la variabilidad climáticos que han alterado la disponibilidad de ese recurso.

A report of the meeting is presented which embroiders the different positions and observations, in an attempt to reach agreements on water, conceives the meeting as "food for the earth". In awareness of population growth, the increased demand for water for agricultural and non-agricultural activities, and the effects of climate change and variability that have altered the availability of this resource.

Apresenta-se um relatório do encontro que borda as diferentes posições e observações, na tentativa de chegar a acordos sobre a água, concebendo o encontro como “alimento para a terra”. Consciente do crescimento populacional, do aumento da demanda de água para atividades agrícolas e não agrícolas, e dos efeitos das mudanças climáticas e da variabilidade que alteraram a disponibilidade desse recurso.
