Cedros wilt disease of coconuts

Abstract

The major coconut diseases affecting Guyana are Red Ring disease, Cedros Wilt disease (Hartrot), Bronze Leaf Wilt disease, Bud Rot disease and Coconut Fruit Stunting (caused by the Conconut Mite). The wilt diseases are analyzed from the epidemiological point of view so as to indicate the relationship to control measures currently applied or applicable to each disease. The document presents topics such as research, training, consultancy, visits, proposals, analysis of results, and control measures for cedros wilt.
