Actually more people is interested in cars that work with diesel fuel, could be for work or tourism, the results of this investigationallowed to know which is the best way to obtained an optimal fuel for the torque and power of the vehicle. The environmental contamination could be less if the quality of the diesel is improved with a team work between nations that are near and share a similar geography. Is important to identify which country of the A.C.N. count with the best quality of fuel that distributed and the emission of the contaminants of the internal combustion engine that works with diesel in normal conditions with 2.800 meters above sea level in Quito. The laboratory used in this investigation was CCICEV, this laboratory gets all the specifications to give real results in the dynamometer, and is the only one that can approved the international machinery that is imported to Ecuador. With the results, proceed to make a statistical analysis. After the test in the laboratory the fuel that gets besr results in torque and power was the Ecuadorian, however the static opacity is hígh upon a comparison with the other countries. The fuels of the A.C.N. countries have a similar quantification of the final data.En la actualidad aumenta la cantidad de personas interesadas en adquirir vehículos diésel, sean para trabajo o turismo. Los resultados de la investigación permitieron conocer cuál es la mejor vía para la obtención de un combustible óptimo, en lo que respecta torque y potencia en los automotores con diésel. La contaminación ambiental disminuye si la calidad del combustible es mejorada en conjunto entre naciones cercanas que comparten una geografía similar. Es importante identificar qué país de la Comunidad Andina de Naciones, cuenta con mejor calidad en el diésel que comercializa y la contaminación emitida resultante del proceso de funcionamiento del motor a una altura de 2800 metros sobre el nivel del mar. La realización de estas pruebas se realizó en el laboratorio del Centro de Transferencia Tecnológica para la capacitación e Investigación en Control de Emisiones Vehiculares (CCICEV). Este, normado, es el único en el Ecuador en autorizar y homologar los vehículos que ingresan al país. Con los datos obtenidos se realizó una comparación estadística y se ponderaron los resultados. Luego de ejecutar las pruebas de laboratorio el combustible que obtuvo mejores prestaciones en torque y potencia fue el ecuatoriano. Sin embrago, su opacidad estática es alta, comparada con las muestras de otros países. Los combustibles de países de la C.A.N. tienen similitud en la cuantificación de los resultados obtenidos.
