Expansor tipo hyrax en pacientes con maloclusión clase III

Abstract

Las maloclusiones son problemas que se pueden presentar desde la niñez, y uno de los factores que la pueden ocasionar es la falta de desarrollo del maxilar superior, dando lugar a una maloclusion clase III, se realiza esta investigación para conocer los tratamientos que ayudaran a la corrección de estas alteraciones. Objetivo: determinar la eficacia del tratamiento con aparatología expansor tipo Hyrax en pacientes con maloclusion clase III por el subdesarrollo de maxilar. Metodología: los métodos científicos utilizados fueron bibliográficos, exploratorios y descriptivo, ya que trata de analizar los tratamientos adecuados para la corrección de maloclusiones clase III. Resultados: la expansión rápida del maxilar, es un tratamiento eficaz, que ayudara a la corrección de estas alteraciones mediante aparatología ortopédica. Conclusiones: se necesita realizar un diagnóstico adecuado, para ofrecer un tratamiento favorable, por lo que se debe tener en cuenta en que pacientes se encuentra indicado este tratamiento.

Conclusions: an adequate diagnosis is needed to offer a favorable treatment, so it must be taken into account in which patients this treatment is indicated.
