“Seguridad turística en espacios urbanos. Caso: Malecón de Durán”

Abstract

La presente tesis consistió en la seguridad turística en espacios urbanos enfocado en el malecón de Durán. El problema es ¿de qué manera el análisis de la seguridad turística en el malecón de la ciudadela Abel Gilbert Pontón contribuirá al diseño de un plan de asistencia al visitante que aporte al desarrollo local? La idea a defender es el análisis de la seguridad turística en el malecón de la ciudadela Abel Gilbert pontón de Duran contribuirá al diseño de un plan de asistencia al visitante que permita fortalecimiento del turismo local. La metodología que se implemento fue de corte mixto el alcance de la investigación es de tipo descriptivo de tipo acción y no experimental; los instrumentos utilizados son la observación directa, las encuestas, la entrevista. Los involucrados son los turistas que asisten al malecón Abel Gilbert Pontón cuya muestra la componen 2900 visitantes. Los resultados de la encuesta referente a la seguridad demuestran que la mayoría de encuestados han sido víctimas de la delincuencia, así como también poseen insatisfacción por la constante percepción de inseguridad, la mayoría de los encuestados de la muestra aportan el desconocimiento que tienen sobre la policía de turismo, así como también del servicio que estos agentes dan. Referente al plan de asistencia al visitante la mayoría de encuestados consideran que el plan de asistencia al visitante ayudará a mejorar la seguridad turística.

This thesis consisted of the touristic security in urban spaces focused on the boardwalk of Duran. The problem is: how will contribute the analysis of the touristic security on the boardwalk of the citadel Abel Gilbert Ponton to the design of a visitor assistance plan that enhances the local development? The idea to defend is « the analysis of the touristic security on the boardwalk of the citadel Abel Gilbert ponton of Duran contribute to the design of a visitor assistance plan that allows the strengthening of local tourism». The methodology implemented was mixed, the research scope is descriptive type of action type and not experimental. The instruments used are direct observation, surveys and interviews. Those involved are the tourists who visit the Abel Gilbert Ponton boardwalk. The sample is made up of 2900 visitors. The results of the survey on safety show that the majority of respondents have been victims of crime, that there is a dissatisfaction due to the constant perception of insecurity, most part of the respondents in the sample indicate there is a lack of information about the tourism police, as well as the service that these agents provide. Regarding the visitor assistance plan, the majority of respondents believe that the visitor assistance plan will help improve the touristic security.
