The influence of fluency in the oral expression of the students at A1 level

Abstract

The current research is presented as a fundamental basis for the students of 8th year of EGB of the "Luis Bonilla Castillo" Fiscal School of Complete Basic Education and the process of learning the English language, focusing specifically on fluency in oral expression; therefore, among the objectives is to describe the fluency in oral expression through a bibliographic and interpretative study and characterize the oral expression of students at level A1 through bibliographic, statistical and field research. The methodology was carried out through a mixed, qualitative and quantitative approach applied through the interview with the tutor of the English area and the survey of the students. La actual investigación se presenta como una base fundamental para los alumnos de 8º año de EGB de la Escuela de Educación Básica Completa "Luis Bonilla Castillo" y el proceso de aprendizaje del idioma inglés, enfocándose específicamente en la fluidez en la expresión oral; por ello, entre los objetivos se plantea describir la fluidez en la expresión oral a través de un estudio bibliográfico e interpretativo y caracterizar la expresión oral de los estudiantes en el nivel A1 a través de la investigación bibliográfica, estadística y de campo. La metodología se lo realizó mediante un enfoque mixto, cualitativo y cuantitativo aplicados por medio de la entrevista al docente tutor de área de inglés y la encuesta a los estudiantes. En cuanto a la propuesta, se diseñó un cuadernillo con actividades basadas en la fluidez para desarrollar expresiones orales mediante los datos recogidos.
