Resumen
The present educational Project is oriented to solve the problem of the inadequate
development of oral expression in the learning of the English language in students of Ninth Grade
of General Basic Education from Unidad Educativa Dr. Francisco Huerta Rendón, in the school
period 2017-2018.
Being the oral expression, one of the most important skills that the teacher must have more
attention in the development of the same, because there are several factors that block the student
in the learning of the English language. Through of a collective learning process with interactive
activities, the students will generate significant learning among them in class.
This project aims to find a solution that helps avoiding negative factors that affect the process
of producing oral expression, factors like fears, nerves to express orally and a tense atmosphere
created in the classroom.
It also aims to diagnose if there is a lack of participatory activities that can attest for the
inadequate development of oral expression and help to find a solution with the objective of solving
the problem through activities focused on participatory techniques that can help overcome the
situation. This research project was developed with the collaboration of the students of Ninth Grade,
room D, in General Basic Education from Unidad Educativa Dr. Francisco Huerta Rendón in the
school period 2017-2018. The problem identified was the inadequate development of oral
expression in the classroom, as well as the causes of the problem were detected, such as: lack of
motivation, the lack of application of participatory techniques and also the insufficient active
participation of students.
This research project contains four chapters; the first chapter is about the problem that was
detected in the institution mentioned, the causes that influenced and generated the problem, the
conflict situation, the general and specific objectives, scientific questions and furthermore the
justification that details the relevance of this project.
The second chapter is based on the theoretical background, it means, the previous
researches that were related to this project, the conceptual framework that consists in the theoretical
development of the two variables and the theories of world authors that were also related with the
study of this investigation, and finally the contextual and the legal framework.
The third chapter is referred to the methodological design, the types and methods of
investigation, the population and sample, the instruments of investigation, statistical methods, and
also the general conclusions and recommendations.
And finally the fourth chapter is based on the development of the proposal with its
justification, general and specific objectives of the proposal, theoretical foundations that are referred
for its development, its feasibility and its own description.
