Resumen
La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de determinar el impacto tributariofinanciero
de las inversiones mantenidas a su vencimiento bajo NIC 39 en la empresa
MÁRMOL S. A., durante el año 2016. Para el efecto, se aplicó la metodología deductiva,
descriptiva, cuantitativa, bibliográfica y de campo, con uso de la encuesta y la entrevista a los
principales involucrados, cuyos resultados evidenciaron que la empresa no está aplicando
adecuadamente la norma NIC 39 relacionada con las inversiones mantenidas a su
vencimiento, mientras que los activos por impuestos diferidos contabilizaron $2.437,16, con
un capital de trabajo de $67.291,08, razón corriente de 2,57, rentabilidad financiera de
11,60% y rentabilidad sobre activos de 55,60%. La organización cuenta con maquinarias
averiadas que funcionan por más de 3 años con daños, sin que se haya dado de baja a ningún
equipo, con un bajo nivel de inversiones en los últimos años, afectando la transparencia de
los estados financieros y las declaraciones impositivas. Se propuso un manual para
contabilizar adecuadamente las inversiones mantenidas a su vencimiento bajo normas NIC
39, NIC 12, donde el gasto tributario ajustado se incrementa en 50%, mientras que el capital
de trabajo aumenta de $67.291,08 a $70.481,08, la razón corriente pasa de 2,57 a 2,64, la
rentabilidad financiera pasa de 55,60% a 55,21% y la rentabilidad sobre activos de 11,60% a
11,36%. En conclusión, la no contabilización adecuada de las inversiones mantenidas a su
vencimiento, han tenido un impacto negativo en el plano tributario –financiero de la empresa. The present investigation was carried out with the objective of determining the taxfinancial
impact of investments held to maturity under IAS 39 in the company MÁRMOL
SA, during the year 2016. For this purpose, the deductive, descriptive, quantitative,
bibliographical and field data, with the use of the survey and the interview to the main
stakeholders, whose results showed that the company is not properly applying the norm IAS
39 related to investments held to maturity, while deferred tax assets accounted for $ 2.437,16,
with a working capital of $ 67,291.08, current ratio of 2.57, financial profitability of 11.60%
and return on assets of 55.60%. The organization has damaged machinery that has been
operating for more than 3 years with damages, without any equipment being discharged, with
a low level of investments in recent years, affecting the transparency of financial statements
and tax declarations. A manual was proposed to adequately account for investments held to
maturity under IAS 39, IAS 12, where adjusted tax expense increases by 50%, while working
capital increases from $ 67,291.08 to $ 70,481.08, the ratio current ratio goes from 2.57 to
2.64, the financial return goes from 55.60% to 55.21% and the return on assets from 11.60%
to 11.36%. In conclusion, the failure to properly account for the investments held at maturity
has had a negative impact on the tax-financial level of the company.
