Propuesta de un centro de interpretación con fines turísticos culturales para incentivar el turismo local en la comuna Engabao-Villamil Playas

Abstract

La problemática que vive la comuna de Engabao y por lo general en todos los pueblos del Ecuador, con la falta de información sobre sus recursos culturales, incide en la desvalorización cultural y oportunidades de desarrollar el turismo local, como un potencial turístico y un medio de vida para la sostenibilidad y sustentación local. Aplicando tipos de investigación, como los de observación, bibliográficos, de campo, descriptiva y analítica, a su vez utilizando técnicas de investigación, como las encuestas dirigidas a la población y entrevistas a líderes de la comuna de Engabao, con sus respectivas herramientas como las fichas de observación. Se determinó el potencial cultural que posee la comuna de Engabao, y que ha sido desaprovechado todo este tiempo, constatando el problema para su desarrollo social, económico y cultural. La aceptación es altamente favorable entre los comuneros sobre sus recursos culturales que poseen, identificando los de mayor trascendencia; las artes y faenas de pesca, sus fiestas tradicionales, entre ellas las religiosas y no dejando de lado sus raíces de culturas prehispánicas o precolombinas. A su vez consideran que un Centro de Interpretación ayudaría a diversificar la oferta turista del lugar, dando a conocer sus tradiciones y formas de vida.
