organizarse y causar caries, gingivitis o enfermedad
salud. Periodontitis is a chronic, irreversible disease that can
begin as gingivitis, then continue with a retraction
gum and bone loss until , if not treated , leaving no
bone supporting the tooth. The loss of that support involves the loss
irreparable same tooth . Of bacterial etiology which affects
the periodontium ( the supporting tissue of the teeth , consisting of the gum ,
the alveolar bone, cementum and periodontal ligament ) is given
mostly in older adults although this is not a
constant and can develop in anyone without looking age, sex
or socioeconomic status .
Plaque is a heterogeneous accumulation of a
diverse microbial community , aerobic and anaerobic , surrounded by
intercellular matrix polymers and salivary microbial origin.
These microorganisms can adhere or deposit on the walls
of the teeth . Their presence may be associated with health,
but if the microorganisms get the necessary substrates for
and survive long remain on the tooth surface , can
organize and cause cavities , gingivitis or illness
periodontal ( gum disease ) .
This research will provide us information to identify the aetiology
chronic adult periodontitis and thus prevent
spreading the disease in the mouth and if not treated in time
can cause damage to our immune system. It is important that
people have knowledge of these microorganisms to
have adequate control over their oral cleaning, visit a dentist for
seek information and to avoid future problems harmful to
health.
