Incidencia de Fasciolosis hepatica en ovinos faenados en la emr-q. en dos épocas.

Abstract

La presente investigación, que trató sobre la incidencia de Fasciolosis Hepática en ovinos, en el examen post mortem, en la Empresa Metropolitana de Rastro (EMR-Q), ubicada en la ciudadela la Ecuatoriana, parroquia Chillogallo, cantón Quito, provincia de Pichincha, República del Ecuador.

Los objetivos de la investigación fueron : 1) Estudiar la incidencia de Fasciolosis hepática en ovinos faenados en la EMR-Q. 2) Estudiar las zonas endémicas de la enfermedad, mediante un seguimiento de la procedencia de los ovinos que se sacrifican en la EMR-Q. Y ; 3) Cuantificar las pérdidas económicas que se producen por el decomiso de hígados ovinos en la EMR-Q.

Para la investigación se utilizó un grupo de 29046 ovinos faenados a los cuales se les realizó la inspección post mortem, tomándose además los datos respectivos de cada animal en el examen ante mortem, en dos épocas; agosto, septiembre y octubre del 2003 y marzo, abril y mayo del 2004.

This research tried about the incidence of Hepatic Fasciolosis in the ovine cattle, in the post mortem test of the Empresa Metropolitana de Rastro Quito (EMR-Q), located in the citadel la Ecuatoriana, parroquia Chillogallo, canton Quito, province of Pichincha, Republic of Ecuador.

The objectives of this investigation were : 1) To study the incidence of Hepatic Fasciolosis in sheep sacrified in the EMR-Q. 2) To study the endemic zones of the illness by means of a search about the precedence of sacrified sheep in the EMR-Q. and; 3) To cuantify the economical losses produced by the confiscation of livers from ovine cattle in the EMR-Q.

For this investigation we use a group of 29046 sacrified sheep which we made the post mortem test taking them the respective notes in the ante mortem test. In two epoch: august, September and October of 2003 and march, april and may of 2004.
