| dc.description | This research is a practical evaluation of a “two-way” muffler, designed and built for the acoustical solution of duct ventilation used in energy efficient dwellings. Specifically this evaluation was carried out by lab proves, in which test-mufflers were exposed to white noise levels up to 95 dB(LIN), simulating the muffler mounting condition as placed inside a rigid wall. In this way the required data for measuring the attenuation improvement is obtained. | en-US |
| dc.description | Esta investigación consiste en una evaluación práctica de un silenciador de “dos vías”, diseñado y construido para los ductos de ventilación utilizados en la construcción de las llamadas viviendas energéticamente eficientes. Esta evaluación se llevó a cabo mediante pruebas de laboratorio, en las cuales se sometieron los silenciadores a niveles de ruido blanco por sobre 95 dB (LIN), simulando su montaje a la de un silenciador empotrado en una pared rígida. De esta forma se adquieren los datos necesarios para la medición de la mejora de su atenuación. | es-ES |
