dc.description  During the period between March to December 1999, it was realized the study of a group of organic farmers located between the V and X Region of the country, to know the profile of the producers that are dedicated to the development of the organic agriculture in Chile. The purpose was to know the common characteristics that unite them and then to group them by means of a Cluster analysis and also to know the difficulties that impede that more farmers are integrated to this market. Three groups were obtained with 66,7%, 25,9% and 7,4% respectively. The first group has 38% of its surface with organic agriculture, which was almost certified entirety. The second group is a newer one in the area with 9,8% of its surface dedicated to the item, and the third group dedicates its entirety surface to the organic agriculture, certifying alone a 38%. Finally the main lacks of the studied group, are the investigation, market, organic inputs and financing for this productive alternative.  en-US
dc.description  Para conocer el perfil de aquellos productores que se dedican al desarrollo de la agricultura orgánica en Chile, se llevó a cabo el estudio de un grupo de agricultores ubicados entre la V y X Región del país, con el fin de conocer las características comunes que los unen, para posteriormente agruparlos mediante un análisis de Cluster y conocer además las dificultades que impiden que más agricultores se integren a este mercado. De esta manera se obtuvieron tres grupos con un 66,7%, 25,9% y 7,4% respectivamente. El primer grupo se caracterizó por tener un 38% de su superficie bajo agricultura orgánica, la cual se encontraba casi en su totalidad certificada ; el segundo grupo es aún más nuevo en el área con un 9,8% de su superficie dedicada al rubro, y el tercer grupo destina su totalidad de la superficie a la agricultura orgánica, certificando solo un 38% de ella. Finalmente las principales carencias del grupo estudiado, son la falta de investigación, mercado, insumos orgánicos y financiamiento para esta alternativa productiva.  es-ES
