Skin repair® - Nanotecnologia aplicada à cicatrizaç ão cutânea em um cão

Abstract

Nanotechnology has a great potential related to the properties of natural products, and this report aims to describe the skin wound evolution treated by a cellulose product in nanoscale (Skin repair®). The patient (dog, four years old) with area 110cm2 of wound in the neck had been treated with the membrane and liquid of Skin repair® for 60 days. The Skin repair® contributed to the evolution of the wound, mainly it stimulated the formation of granulation tissue.
