Resumen
The present theoretical investigation tries to address related issues in articulating the protection and
preservation of the built heritage, knowing and understanding better the constructed environment,
through a constant reflection of the critical and creative thinking in relation to the constructed goods.
It aims to instigate society in the contemporary world so that it can develop reflections and
appropriate actions that strengthen the identification, the valorization and preservation of memory,
where through architecture, it is possible to observe the importance that such buildings bring to urban spaces, creating looks that seek and appreciate the maintenance of this heritage and an
environment that respects the old, the same time assisting with regard to the environmental
sustainability of cities.
