Competência do trabalho docente em arquivologia

Abstract

O arquivista na docência universitária integra conhecimentos, habilidades e atitudes para exercer sua profissão, porém pouco se sabe sobre a competência requerida no trabalho do docente em Arquivologia. Com o objetivo de analisar a competência requerida na seleção do docente de Arquivologia nas universidades públicas brasileiras, foram definidos os seguintes objetivos específicos: a) Mapear a competência do profissional arquivista e do docente de ensino superior, de acordo com a literatura; b) Identificar o perfil do candidato exigido pelos editais na seleção do docente de Arquivologia nas universidades públicas brasileiras; e c) Comparar a competência do docente de Arquivologia com o perfil do candidato exigido nos editais de seleção de docentes de Arquivologia nas universidades públicas brasileiras. Os procedimentos metodológicos adotados foram: a pesquisa bibliográfica para compor a contextualização conceitual e teórica; a pesquisa documental para categorizar os editais que ainda não receberam tratamento analítico; a pesquisa teórico-aplicada, para confrontar a teoria com a realidade existente; o estudo exploratório e descritivo, a partir da abordagem qualitativa e do método indutivo para responder aos objetivos a e b e na intersecção dos resultados, responder o objetivo c , com a aplicação da análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Foram aplicados na análise três momentos distintos: 1) Pré-análise concluída com quadros resultantes da análise na bibliografia e dos editais; 2) Exploração do material realizada com a convergência entre os quadros iniciais e as unidades de registro categorizadas com os Conhecimentos, Habilidades e Atitudes - CHA e a fase 3) Tratamento e interpretação dos resultados da competência (CHA) dos docentes de Arquivologia segundo a literatura e a identificação do perfil exigido aos docentes nos editais. Foram analisados 77 editais de 16 Instituições de Ensino Superior no período de 2008 a 2018, e os resultados obtidos contribuem com o conhecimento específico da área de Arquivologia, por meio das habilidades e atitudes relacionadas ao saber docente. Isso permite concluir que o docente de Arquivologia necessita, de acordo com o mapeamento de sua competência, apresentada pela literatura, estar preparado, dotado de competência necessária a um ensino transformador, integrando conhecimentos teóricos, práticos e pedagógicos com as habilidades didáticas, de trabalho em equipe, com liderança e criatividade.

Abstract : The archivist in university teaching integrates knowledge, skills and attitudes to exercise his profession, but little is known about the competence required in the work of the professor in Archival Science. With the objective of analyzing the competence required in the selection of the teaching staff of Archival Science in Brazilian public universities, the following specific objectives were defined: a) to map the competence of the archivist and the higher education teacher, according to the literature; b) identify the profile of the candidate required by the edicts in the selection of the professor of Archival Science at Brazilian public universities; and c) to compare the competence of the Archival Science professor with the profile of the candidate required by the edicts in the selection of the professor of Archival Science in Brazilian public universities. The methodological procedures adopted were: the bibliographical research to compose the conceptual and theoretical contextualization; documentary research to categorize edicts that have not yet received analytical treatment; the theoretical-applied research, to confront the theory with the existing reality; the exploratory and descriptive study based on the qualitative approach and the inductive method to respond to the 'a' and 'b' objectives, and at the intersection of the results answer the 'c' objective with the application of the Bardin content analysis. Three different moments were applied in the analysis: 1) pre-analysis completed with tables resulting from analysis in bibliography and edicts; 2) exploration of the material performed with the convergence between the initial tables and the recording units categorized with the knowledge, skills and attitudes; and 3) treatment and interpretation of the results of the competence of the Archival Science teachers according to the literature, and the one identified with the profile required for teachers in the edicts. We analyzed 77 edicts from 16 higher education institutions from 2008 to 2018, and the results obtained contribute with the specific knowledge of the Archival Science area, through the skills and attitudes related to the teaching knowledge. This makes it possible to conclude that the Archival Science teacher, according to the mapping of his competence presented in the literature, needs to be prepared, endowed with the necessary competence to transform teaching, integrating theoretical, practical and pedagogical knowledge with the didactic and teamwork abilities, through leadership and creativity.
