Resumen
The emergence of Environmental Education was intensified with the relationships that human beings establish with the environment and, consequently, the need to develop educational processes, which were based on ecological sciences, consequently, linked to conservation practices, passing through the macro-trend pragmatic political-pedagogical choice from the 1990s until reaching the critical macro-trend, which seeks to confront socio-environmental inequalities and injustices. The growing need for understanding socio-environmental issues directs us to teach / approach Environmental Education from a Critical perspective, which aims to train a subject capable of exercising citizenship and aware of their actions in this relationship between society and nature. Therefore, Curricular Environmentalization emerges as a way to understand the practices developed in order to understand this educational process carried out in educational institutions, enabling specific and relevant reflections on the environmental field, acting more broadly on values, actions and the search for placements policy towards our common good. Thus, this study analyzed the extension projects developed in a Public Higher Education Institution in the Southwest of Paraná. This analysis made a diagnosis of the Environmental Education proposals developed in the educational institution, as well as identified indicators of the political dimension, perspective (conservationist, pragmatic and critical) and of the axes (formal, informal and non-formal) of Environmental Education present in the projects. With emphasis on the extension actions developed on the campus, they evidenced the predisposition of proposals aimed at the conservationist political-pedagogical macro-trend, totaling 66% of the actionsin which it is highlighted that 64% of the actions analyzed are applied in training spaces. Thisshows the importance of Curriculum Environmentalization as a way to analyze / develop actions aimed at an Environmental Education with a critical / political position that encompasses different social classes and regions, therefore, the training of environmental educators able to exercise citizenship taking into account this relationship more established between society and nature.
