Resumen
Rotary machines are present in most industrial manufacturing processes. In this environment, predictive maintenance emerges as an important alternative for the detection of anomalies, promoting the intervention only when there is some divergence. This work presents a study of the application of vibration analysis for the detection of shaft misalignment failures in rotary machines. Parallel, angular and combined misalignments were imposed between two shafts of a didactic workbench in a controlled manner with the aid of a laser misalignment measurement system. For each of the conditions, the vibration signal was collected in the vertical, horizontal and axial directions, and processed using a mathematical analysis software. Finally, with the possession of the dynamic signal, it was possible to evaluate which fault indicators offered the greatest sensitivity to the anomaly of misalignment, either in the time domain or in the frequency domain.
