Resumen
This work presents the development of a Visual Identity System for an awareness campaign of using plastic bags in supermarkets, in order to create awareness in its use facing environmental problems, use of nonrenewable resources and improper disposal of bags. For this, starting from the methodology presented by Peón (2003) for the development of Visual Identities, we sought to better understand the target audience through a direct research with clients in 3 different supermarkets in Curitiba-PR so that, through Design strategies and ecodesign principles, graphic alternatives could be developed for the awareness campaign in three phases: (I) informing, (II) raising awareness and (III) providing alternatives to the use of plastic bags. The main results are the development of elements such as reports, tags, plates, clothes, displays, green checkout and returnable bags, with attractive visual to the target public and for disposal in internal locations in supermarkets, satisfying precepts of the current theme focused on urban sustainability.
