Laje alveolar protendida: roteiro de dimensionamento e panorama de produção nas regiões sudoeste e centro-sul do Paraná

Abstract

This work aims to present an updated structural design script for prestressed hollow core slabs and to construct an overview about their manufacture in the Southwest and South-Central regions of Paraná, making it possible to analyze the scope of their use in civil construction and the level of technology and quality of local industries, as well as studying the dissemination of normative recommendations for their design and production. The Brazilian standards ABNT NBR 9062:2006, ABNT NBR 14861:2011 and ABNT NBR 6118:2014 were used for the drafting of the script, presenting its main design considerations for the design in the Ultimate Limit State and Serviceability Limit States. The realization of the regional overview took place through technical visit made in four industries of precast concrete members, in which it was possible to recognize the production facilities and to collect information, such as characteristics and requirements of the materials used, duration of the manufacturing cycle, concrete curing and calculation and verification preconditions. The script allowed the evaluation of the importance of losses in prestress for the design of precast prestressed concrete members, as well the effect of the production on those losses. The industries located in the Southwest and Central-South regions of Paraná are in the development phase, being prone to re-evaluate the practices and parameters used and to promote their industrial model.
