Resumen
The potential of a nation to generate knowledge and to convert knowledge in social development is linked directly to the institutional agents’ generators and applicators of knowledge, in other words, university, researchers and companies. In this scenario, some indicators are used objectifying to measure the development in science and technology in Brazil, such as scientific production, number of PhD, investment in research and development, investment in post graduation, and other. In the post graduation evolution process on Brazil, there is a mark is 1951, with the creation of research fomentation agencies CAPES and CNPq, which ones exercised elemental assist for the research development inside the universities. The scholarships characterize one of the main forms of assist. In this perspective, the present study objectifies: to analyze the scientific production of triad 2007-2009 of the productivity scholars of CNPq of Production Engineering area of CAPES. The literature on science, technology and innovation points significant advance in some areas and precarious in another. Indicators such as scientific production are highlighted in some knowledge areas, however, other areas still are starting, in other words, there is disparity inside the knowledge production between the areas. To measure the scientific production of the 101 Production Engineering area's productivity scholars, it was used the researchers' curriculums Lattes. To avoid variation in the data collection period, the curriculums were saved in June 2010. The instrument for data collection contemplated information related to the leadership in research groups; Publications in journals; being collected stratified by Qualis of the journals in the Production Engineering area; Technical production; Concluded supervisions. The results showed that there is correlation between level of conceded scholarship and the qualified publications in journals, however, scholars productivity’s groups with level 1C present more consistent scientific production than the scholars productivity level 1A (more elevated level). About CAPES’s criteria for scholarship productivity concession, it was concluded that these aren't only quantitative factors, but also qualitative factors. This way, it infers that there are researchers scientific production evaluation, which is a quantitative criterion, however, the qualitative criteria, such as leadership in research lines and formation of human resources define the concession or no of the scholarships.
