Os eco-programas da televisão brasileira e sua contribuição para a fomentação da educação ambiental

Abstract

Public Policies for Environmental Education highlight the essential contribution of the mass media. The Federal Law 9,795 /99, establishing the National Policy for Environmental Education, provides for the right of all the environmental education, which is responsible for communication vehicles cooperate in the dissemination of information and educative practices on the environment and incorporating the environmental dimension into their programming. Thus, the present study seeks to analyze the potential of communication vehicles, in particular the TV programs - which I call Eco-Programs -, in the dissemination and promotion of environmental education. In other words, this work is an analysis of Environmental Education from the perspective of environmental communication in a globalized world.
