Resumen
The electric stimulation technique came into being in 1749, with Benjamin Franklin, and his improvement with studies shows that this technique made possible an improvement in the beef that is commercialized. Brazil has one of the largest commercial cattle herds in the world, however, it is still fundamental that techniques of improvement of the final product are implanted, with which more and more it is necessary that studies are done. In order to obtain bovine meat products, the slaughterhouse carries out several stages of slaughter, and analyzing the possible costs that a procedure may cost is of fundamental importance. The objective of this study was to evaluate the costs of a refrigerator in the city of Campo Mourão, which slaughtered on average 100 cattle / day for the implantation of the electric stimulation system in the slaughter line. The process of electro stimulation consists of the technique of passing an electric current through the carcass of the animal during slaughter in order to guarantee a greater softness of the meat, it is expected that the acquisition of the electric stimulator can directly influence the choice and guarantee the preference and consumer satisfaction.
