Resumen
The current design project consists of the use of comics as a communication device, aiming at its potential for disseminating information through digital means, through the social network Instagram. The Project aims to develop a comic book addressing the practices of the Body Positive movement, understanding the stigmas created by the beauty standard of today’s society around the body and physical activities, and the importance of demystifying them. For this, the necessary requirements were studied to comply with the project proposal and which are the best techniques for the creation of the comic book, a theoretical research was also carried out, followed by a field research, to understand what they are and where they come from. Give rise to stigmas around the body and physical activities. Analyzes were carried out from similar projects that use design and illustration as a communication tool and the language of comic books and their communication potential. To validate the idea of the proposal, a model was published on Instagram in the format of weekly chapters, and the data obtained were analyzed in order to measure the scope of the project according to its objective. The project was carried out using Bruno Munari’s methodology, together with the concepts of color psychology. Finally, the comic was published on the Instagram platform on the Helius.art profile in order to facilitate access to the information covered in it by anyone who is interested.
