Avaliação do uso de luminárias tipo LED em garagens de edifícios comerciais e residenciais quando comparadas com luminárias convencionais

Abstract

Despite of being on the market for some time, the LED (Light Emission Diod) lamp illumination system has not being used in currently enterprises, whether commercial or residential. The promise of a cutback on the monthly consumption of energy is still not very scattered throughout the population, considering the significantly difference of prices in relation to conventional lamp systems, for example, fluorescent lamps. When talking about LED lamps currently, the entrepreneur must take into consideration that it is a long-term investment and that could not turn out viable. The LED illumination system has being gaining space inside the market due to a series of factors which will be presented on this project; one highlighted factor is the adequacy of some projects and enterprises to obtain quality and sustainability certifications, as the international known sustainability certificate the LEED (Leedership in Energy and Environmental Design). The objective of this project is to present the general concepts about the LED illumination system and evaluate the economical viability of its installation when compared with a fluorescent lamps illumination system. The analysis of that viability is going to be made by the study case of two enterprises, where one of them is commercial and the other residential.
