Classificação de espécies de plantas utilizando caracteristicas de textura

Abstract

Currently, there is a massive generation of information of all kinds, which are of extreme importance to world, among them, the data stored in bioimages stand out, which are of extreme importance for biodiversity, saving an endangered species, for example, and human interests as well, identifying plants for use in areas such as medicine and pharmacy. For this, the analysis of these bioimages becomes a necessary activity but also exhaustive. Therefore, the union with automated identification and classification techniques becomes essential. This work proposes to present a methodology that can acquire information from the leaf image and classify them into correct species. The experiments carried out using the image database (ImageCLEF) found excellent results, reaching 96% F-Measure in the classification performance
