Análise da confiabilidade, mantenabilidade e disponibilidade de moinhos de uma planta industrial

Abstract

This work presents the application of reliability studies and maintainability as important tools for the selection of appropriate maintenance policies for mill of an industrial plant. The study method includes revision of reliability concepts, maintainability and availability of equipment, the definition of the system and the period being studied, the data collection through the documentary record every occurrence of failure or every shut down for maintenance. Data were considered for the period from April/2014 to September/2014. Statistical modeling of the data was performed to estimate the mean time between failure and repair of equipment (and the components that a higher incidence of failures), where, from there, it was possible to estimate the availability. The application of the method identified the occurrence of equipment failure and the most critical components and its location in the bath-tub curve, which formed the basis for the proposed maintenance policies.
