Análise da viabilidade técnico econômica de instalação de um grupo gerador diesel na Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná - Câmpus Pato Branco

Abstract

This study presents the study of technical and economic viability for the installation of a diesel generator set at the Federal Technological University of Paraná - Campus Pato Branco, in order to reduce the cost of electricity bill, possibility of using the generator in situations of lack in the supply of utility power, and even the use of the system in the situations of overtaking of the contracted demand. The case study consists in choosing the location for installation of the generator set in survey consumption profile by analyzing the electricity bills, the choice of operating voltage and operating mode of the system, dimensioning of power generator set and still the economic project feasibility analysis. The design was carried out for two scenarios: current scenario, which was considered the historical record for most overtaking in the instantaneous power demand and growth factor campus, and future scenario considering the intended load on the electrical university project. The study also proposes a simplified methodology for carrying out the design of other self-generation systems in order to help future work.
