Resumen
This paper presents the development of an electronic control circuit power for heaters in passing, used in showers. Proposes an electronic control circuit that applies whole cycles of the grid, rather than distorted sinusoids, thus minimizing the harmonic content injected into the grid. Explains the importance of energy efficiency today. Explains that low power factor and high harmonic content contribute to a lower efficiency of the equipment. Sets out rules relating to acceptable limits for harmonic sand for the flicker of light. Examines power control methods, with their pros and cons. Develop a whole cycle control by using a microcontroller to drive a thyristor. It analyzes the flickering light caused. Concludes presenting a proposal for the power control using the technique of whole cycles.
