From the moment that the transport of sugarcane starts in the field until unloading at the plant the timing of these steps will be crucial to achieve maximum efficiency and economy of the machines involved in this process. If there is a delay in unloading it can generate a jam of trucks loaded in the plant yard. With this, it will result in a lack of empty trucks in the field to harvest the cane. Consequently, harvesters and tractors will stop their activities, which will reduce the transportation process efficiency and the receiving of sugarcane at the plant. In the sugar and alcohol plants, the Lateral Tilter Hilo, also known as "Hilo Winch" is a device used to unload the cane trucks. The operating principle is very simple: the truck parks next to the tilter and two operators engage chains or truck cables to the hooks of the hilo tilter. The winch raises the charge of the dumping truck
on the feed table where the whole process of production of sugar and alcohol will start. Given these conditions can be seen that the drive of the truck unloading is basically manual with the presence of two operators and more the driver of the truck awaiting discharge to remove the location of the truck. This way, it will be possible to automate the discharge process, with the implementation of an automatic control for discharge of sugar cane, with thisthe time spent inside the plant yard will decrease and the efficiency in the extraction of raw materials will improve.
