Uma análise psicanalítica da obra Urupês de Monteiro Lobato: complexo de Édipo

Abstract

This paper aims to perform a psychoanalytic analysis of Monteiro Lobato 's Urupês, based on Freud. For the analysis were selected the tales: A vingança da Peroba, Meu conto de Maupassant, Bucólica, O mata-pau, Bocatorta and O Estigma. The selected stories have several elements in common, such as the presence of the family relationship, the relationship between parents and children and the tragic end. Based on the family relationship and the relationship between parents and children were applied the notions of Oedipus Complex, Id and Ego and emotional ambivalence, as well as their ramifications.
