Melhoria da qualidade: análise de devoluções em uma empresa distribuidora de medicamentos

Abstract

Drug distribution companies receive products from suppliers, store them, split lots and ship to their customers. The suppliers of these distribution companies can be laboratories or other distribution companies Its clients are pharmacies, hospitals, government bids, and other distribution companies. Among many opportunities for improvement in drug distribution, is the reduction numbers of the drug returns. This Production Engineering post-graduation research studies a drug distributor of the city of Francisco Beltrão, located in Paraná estate, Brazil. The purpose of this paper is to create a returns index, which does not exist in the company and, based on this index, use quality tools to identify the possible causes of drug returns. And, finally, this study also aims to propose to the company possible solutions to reduce this index.
